Week 5: Divine Presence/Absence

Biblical Texts
Read and grapple with the text of Exodus 33 and consult the
commentaries on it. Also, look at the Psalms of presence (e.g., 84
and 104) and absence (e.g. 22 and 88). One could also think about
the "dangerous presence" of God (e.g., Job 7:11-21).
